*  we can make copies... $0.10 per page...

*  we can send and receive faxes... small charge applies...

*  we have notary services...

*  we have a projector machine that can project anything from a computer or memory stick onto the wall/screen...

          power point presentations, photo slideshows and more...

*  we have a SMART TV/Roku system and a regular TV with DVD and VHS hooked up...

*  we have a computer for visitor use...

*  we have a great selection of greeting cards for sale... Birthday, Thank You, Sympathy, Get Well, Wedding,

         Anniversary, Graduation, Easter, Thinking of You... $1.00 per card or $5.00 for a box of 12 cards (mix and match

         to find what you like and need)...

*  our Dining Room and/or Activity Room and/or Kitchen can be rented for family and community events... $10.00

         per room per event or $75.00 with full use of Kitchen/appliances...

*  we have many pieces of medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, canes, tub seats, etc. available if someone

          needs these items temporarily due to an illness, fall, surgery, etc...

*  we have a Wii machine with many exercising, flexing, balancing and strength activities or games to choose from...

*  we have hand dumbbells and ankle foot weights for exercise/strength training...

*  we have Canasta card playing on Wednesdays and Saturdays... Pinochle and Cribbage and Board Games take

          place also...

*  health checks (blood pressure and more) are done on two Wednesdays each month...

*  a Foot Care Clinic is held here one day each month...

*  Sweet Medical Clinic (located in same building) is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week...

We are a unique facility as we are fortunate to be joined with the Little Rockies Retirement Center and Sweet Medical Center - Harlem Satellite Office, all under one roof.  We are truly a three-in-one facility for elders.  Our building is owned by Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, Montana.

 

Little Rockies Retirement Center

The Little Rockies Retirement Center is a low-income housing unit for people age 55 and over.  It is not an assisted-living or nursing home unit.  Everyone who resides at the little Rockies Retirement Center must be self-sufficient as far as taking care of themselves/mobility and cooking and cleaning purposes.  We have 16 apartments, 10 being 1-bedroom units and 6 being 2-bedroom units.  All utilities are included in the rent.  TV/Satellite service and Landline Telephone are paid by the tenant.  There is free washer/dryer use for all the tenants.  We have ample side-street angle parking with winter plug-ins for the tenants.  Please submit an application with income verification to be placed on our waiting list.

 

Sweet Medical Center - Harlem Satellite Office

The Sweet Medical Office - Harlem Office is a branch of the home medical facility located in Chinook, Montnana.  Medical services are provided on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week.  The medical office offers many services for evaluation and treatment and limited lab service.  They have open times for call-in patients.  Doctors are on call from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesdays through Thursdays.  The clinic is closed from noon to 1:00 pm for lunch.
